Ronin Skis

Skis are incredible. I am fascinated by the two aspects of them. The strict engineering and the soft flowing lines that create the shape. You are literally being carried through the mountains by a piece of wood 2.5mm thick wrapped in composites and a bit of epoxy glue. Flexed and pressed again and again at super high speeds. Impressive engineering. And yet it couldn’t move you gracefully if it wasn’t paired perfectly with the soft flowing lines born of imagination. Dare I call it art ? Either way, beautiful and functional. I love it.
