Happy International Nurses' Day to all the amazing nurses out there!
On 12 May, we celebrate the invaluable contributions that nurses make to healthcare around the world. Did you know that nurses make up the largest group of healthcare professionals? And they do so much more than just administer medication and check vital signs. They provide comfort and support to patients and their families, advocate for better healthcare policies, and are often the first line of defense in emergencies.
So here's a big thank you to all the nurses out there for everything you do, today and every day!

Today is World Health Day - and the World Health Organization’s 75th anniversary.
From vaccines and antibiotics to better sanitation and safer food, it’s pretty incredible to think about the progress we’ve made in improving public health over the past 75 years.
But there remain barriers to health equity. Access to quality healthcare and accurate medical information shouldn't be a privilege reserved for the few, but a basic human right that's available to all.
I know firsthand how critical it is to communicate health information accurately and effectively across language barriers - it’s my job, after all. By bridging these gaps, we can ensure that everyone, regardless of their background or where they live, has access to the same high-quality healthcare resources.
So on this World Health Day, I’m reiterating my commitment to contributing to a healthier, more equitable world for all. 💪
