"(Original Caption) 3/27/1944-New York, NY: Lisette Verea, of the 'Merry Widow' cast, wears a lipstick creation inspired by the mode at the 'El Barracho Club,' where lip imprints decorate walls and ceilings. All set for spring is the new Easter Bonnet of red felt in the shape of a huge pair of lips. Most novel is the cigarette which protrudes from the lips. A large netted veil is worn over the face."
