Springtime in Meudon

Some more images from cTc's recent visit to the newly restored Notre Dame.

CTc Images was at Retromobile, Paris a couple of weeks ago, where, amongst many beautiful machines were a number of unique Presidential cars.

Notre Dame like it has never been seen throughout its history. Even when newly constructed, the interior was blackened by the soot from the flaming torches used to light it, but now it is incredibly light, airy and clean. Staggeringly beautiful!

Paris in its party dress!

A short train ride from Paris enabled a chilly December weekend in Reims, where the French Kings were crowned.

Often overlooked by visitors to Paris, who flock instead to Notre Dame and Sacre Coeur, the Basillique de St-Denis was for centuries the preferred burial place of the French Royal Family. The sheer number of Royal tombs is simply mind boggling.

We had an early (and chilly!) start one day last week when we met our lovely clients at sunrise for a photo shoot in central Paris.

The Brief was for family photos showing the beauty of Paris, especially the icon that is the Eiffel Tower. The forecast suggested a fair chance of rain, so we suggested a meet on Pont Bir Hakeim, giving us the opportunity to incorporate iconic cast-iron pillars of the bridge and, if necessary, keep dry beneath Metro Line 6, which passes overhead at that point! A combination of beauty and practicality.

The results? Very pleased clients, if a little cold (apparently you don't get this kind of weather in Florida!). Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about the weather, but in regard to everything within our control; Brief successfully delivered!
