What are these famous musical or other influences (various arts/literature, etc.) that inspire you?

When it comes to music, it ranges from folk to grindcore, from Erik Satie to Cannibal Co**se, with everything in between — passing through Aphex Twin and Deftones.

But it’s not only music that inspires and moves me. Many things do: the depth of a painting (Po***ck, Soulages, Mathieu), the framing of a photo (Klein, Newton, Prestes), the color grading of a movie (Spike Lee, Nolan, Gondry), even the writing style of a book (Kundera, Gavalda, Nicholls), or the atmosphere of a board game (Eldritch Horror, Mansions of Madness, Terraforming Mars).

Traveling, physical experiences, and life itself also play a role — as long as something stirs me emotionally and takes me somewhere specific in my mind, it inspires me and inevitably leaves its mark.

Why "BLVCK S3RMØN" ?

It is pretty obvious where BLVCK comes from: I don’t write peaceful uplifting music and won’t start anytime soon. I wanted the listeners to know what they get, as simple as that.

S3RMØN is more subtle. I always had an almost religious relationship with music, feeling a constant need to listen to it, discover new artists, scenes, and styles, preaching it at every corner, and so I brought this point of view into music production as well. Also, I have always felt that going to a gig is a kind of ritual, close to going to a church or any other spiritual event.

Both of these puzzle pieces shape who I am and my music. The only thing I regret is how I decided to write the name. Hope you guys don’t have a hard time finding me on streaming platforms 😅
