Mobiles are such magical and playful objects. And they MOVE! How cool is that? I’ve loved Calder’s works since I was ten. This lotus root mobile is absolutely inspired by him.

Behind the scenes, it was a huge effort to make + install. Each lotus "chip" takes 30 minutes to make and finish…but I’m really pleased with how it turned out.

I’m eager to make more. Just imagine a room full of lotus root mobiles…🥰
