FEAST OF THE ASSUMPTION (Fête de l’Assomption)
Annual celebration to honour the Virgin Mary, patron saint of sailors at the Port of Nice.
Program
4:30pm - 10pm : Gather in front of "l'église du Port"; procession to Quai d’Entrecasteaux; blessing of traditional boats (pointu) decorated with flowers; and mass.

6pm : "Parade of Nations" along the Promenade du Paillon from Place de la Bourgada to Venet's sculpture "l’Arc"
