Bleu Canard Design

When invited me to design a luxury vacation home, one destination immediately came to mind… Bali. ✨

I was incredibly honored that Bleu Canard Design was one of just four designers selected by Houzz Pro to create an original concept for their featured editorial on luxury vacation homes.

For my concept, I imagined a contemporary Bali-inspired retreat that blurs the boundaries between indoor and outdoor living. My goal was to create a home that felt like a true escape… immersive, luxurious, serene, and deeply connected to nature. Varying elevations inspired by the sunken living rooms of the 70s create distinct zones and dynamic viewpoints, while water features and lush greenery shape the experience throughout the home. A palette of warm woods, natural stone, flowing linens, and layered South Asian-inspired art, décor, and furnishings completes the space, creating a rich yet peaceful atmosphere.
