Yesterday was my last day working at Lasserre ( ). The moment has come for me to close this important chapter in my life and begin a new adventure.
The growth and change I have experienced while working here has been unlike anything in my life. In the past I stayed silent about my own achievements, but I think it’s time to finally give myself a pat on the back.
Not everyone dares to change careers completely. Not everyone starts over in a country where they don’t speak the language. Not everyone works in restaurants as a minority and still chooses to speak up for what is right.
I did and I’m proud! I finally feel comfortable saying it!
