For many years, being a generalist, I had a bit of an inferiority complex compared to some specialists I knew. Being a superficial "jack of all trades, master of none", I somehow felt specialists, with their deep knowledge about their area of choice were more respectable. This all changed when I discovered a better word to describe myself.

If you are a generalist, I have a better label for you Three years ago, I discovered a new label which turned my thinking on its head.

One of the really hard things in life is finding your purpose, your Why. It eludes most people. Once you have found it, your mission is what guides you forward. I have found mine and it is liberating. That is why now I enjoy working with others to find theirs.

Earlier this week I was at Porsche IceForce in Northern Finland for 3 days of Porsche driving on Ice, with my 3 bestest friends. Despite the great instructors I still went off-piste from time to time though!
