Fragments of a Breathless Sea

In this place, even the stars seemed to hesitate, their reflections caught in the glowing waters below. The jagged peaks pierced the heavens like broken teeth, ancient and unmoved by time. The air was thick with a silence that pressed against the rocks and the luminous shallows, as if the world had forgotten how to breathe.

It was not a place for the living or the lost, but something in-between, suspended in the endless pause of night.

The Hour of Stillness

In the valley where mountains breathe and the mist never lifts, time has slowed to a reverent crawl. The red sun looms low, impossibly large, simply watching. Towers stretch from stone like relics of a forgotten ambition, their surfaces worn by wind and silence. No one remembers who built them, or what they reached for. All that remains is the quiet, and the feeling that something once great passed through this place... and may yet return.

When the Sky Opens

There is an old pact, forgotten by the cities, but still written in the waters.
At every eclipse, a Keeper must appear — alone — at the surface of the sacred mirror.

It is not a choice. It is a role passed through blood, through memory.

The boy has become a man. The silence of legacy has followed him here.
Tonight, he steps into the lake just as his father once did, and his grandfather before him.
