FINANCE FOR IMPACT is honored to become an accredited member of the Ocean & Climate Platform, a coalition of 90 members (research institutes, NGOs, aquariums, private sector, public institutions, and local authorities) working together to create a healthy ocean and protected climate.

The Ocean & Climate Platform provides public officials, civil society and business leaders with new knowledge and insights on the issues, challenges and solutions at the interfaces between biodiversity, the ocean and climate.

As ocean-climate-biodiversity issues gain prominence on the international political agenda, the Ocean & Climate Platform aims at mobilizing all stakeholders to step up action on biodiversity challenges so that it is on a par with action on climate.

We are happy to join forces and actively support initiatives aimed at reducing pollution and preserving natural resources in the ocean.

Thierry Senechal, FINANCE FOR IMPACT Managing Director, has been appointed Team Leader on the development of an EIB green finance strategy.

More specifically, this technical assistance, led by the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, will advise on the financial instruments and approaches that will need to be developed to support the green finance portfolio in several countries of the Southern EU Southern Neighbourhood region.

In this context, a team of experts will carry out a comprehensive study that supports the EIB in business development activities covering several thematic areas including energy efficiency, renewable energy, climate change mitigation in agriculture, forestry, fisheries and aquaculture, low-carbon transport, climate change adaptation investments, and other sustainable finance investments.

We seek a high-caliber Junior Business Development Manager to perform the following tasks:

• Provide support to senior management to develop and refine the business plan and develop new client relationships.
• Identify business opportunities, draft business proposals to secure new contracts with clients.
