Much More is thrilled to welcome Latka among the artists joining the label. Here’s his story.
After several years playing guitar in a funk band influenced by psychedelic rock, and studying jazz at the conservatory, Latka turned to electronic music in 2019. He quickly became fascinated by the complex, “twisted” side of techno sound design, which led him to dive deep into modular synthesis and hands-on experimentation.
He released his first tracks, “Grater Talk” and “Emergency Cleaning”, on After O'Clock Records — a step that brought him to perform at Glazart’s renowned After O'Clock parties, as well as festivals such as Parenteuf, Nowhere and Crème Brulée, alongside events with his collective Protection Câline.
Since then, Latka has continued to shape a techno sound blending his diverse influences — rich in texture, detailed in design, and driven by strong, distinctive sonic universes.

Tracklisting :
01 – Latka - A Faceless Home
02 – Latka - Legless Walk
03 – Latka - Teggit
04 – Latka – Sticky Shoe

Latka crafts music with a crispy tonality, where punchy basslines and striking percussion carve the space with sharp, distinctive rhythmic intuition. Between meticulous textures and controlled tension, a subtly corrosive atmosphere runs throughout, balancing precision with raw edge. Composed of four tracks with markedly different identities, this EP marks the first chapter of an ongoing series on Much More.

“A Faceless Home” opens with a broken, off-kilter atmosphere, immediately revealing Latka’s dexterity and intelligent manipulation of crispy, richly textured sounds. “Legless Walk” moves into hypnotic territory, building a quiet but persistent tension that keeps the listener suspended. “Teggit” delivers a frontal, stripped-down techno cut — minimal, driving, tunnel-like in its focus and intensity. Closing the record, “Sticky Shoes” unfolds through cavernous FM synths, soaring passages and deconstructed vocals, dissolving structure into texture while maintaining a magnetic pull.

The release is accompanied by a photograph by — a long-time collaborator of the label — capturing a magnificent Magnolia, mirroring the EP’s balance between delicacy, contrast and depth.
