throwback to when i had the best time driving up the most scenic stretch of the california coast without having to stop even once for gas!! just, you know, burgers and fries. and insane sunsets. what a dream. ty for the invite 🥹 named my ride baguette btw

told my brother how incredible the food scene is in orlando (beyond the theme parks!!!) and he thought i was exaggerating 🙄 SO naturally i had to bring him ~in person~ to prove that, uh, i’m right.

some bts of our food crawl across orlando + highlights:

1. brother was a little nervous for his first time in a long time on camera, so ty michael for coming in with the party shots at 10am. paired with the eggplant tempura on stracciatella + mushroom bibimbap? delicious.

2. this classic chinese bbq trio at mills 50 food hall that immediately convinced skyler i was right after all 😌 we will never not seek out our favorite charsiu, always hits home.

3. i love love love when shaved ice is made with real fruit, and the ube flavor goes SO hard. shoutout for showing us the ropes and then immediately making us compete to see who did it best 🙃 cassava cake as a topping is such a great idea btw

4. never thought i’d find homemade udon in orlando, let alone this entire insane spread at ??? genuine jaw drop moment for both of us. also FINALLY got to share lumpias family style .orlando 🥹 can’t believe it took me three years to get here!!

5. second to last photo: the banh mis from that we lugged all the way home… six hours of travel later, still very, very good. worth it.

it’s not everyday i get to do something like this with my baby brother, so thank you for making this happen. and to everyone we got to meet along the way - y’all are truly the best!!
