JB Meldrum

This young man Jacob Collier is a top of the line composer and performer. His lovely baritone voice on the first tune belies his young age. The vocal arrangements on the first two songs are very classy indeed. He's got great jazz chops, and a nice gospel feel too. The last tune is one of Collier's gimmickry numbers where the virtuosity seems to run away with the musicality, yet somehow he gets the audience to sing along at the end of the tune...The talent onstage with him deserved to be introduced individually, but all in all, JC has a heart and a huge talent to be reckoned with. Bravo!
