We are seeking a Junior Software Developer-Beirut office.

Job Description/Responsibilities

-Develop and test new applications using company technologies.

-Support and maintain existing applications at HedgeGuard.

-Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

-Knowledge of HTTP concepts.

-In the case of production issues, a high commitment is expected from the employee to resolve bugs or assist the team.

-Assist and participate in documentation and tests.

-Prepare reports, manuals, and documentation for user requirements or existing tools.

-Adhere to high-quality development principles and guidelines.

-Provide second-level support to business users.

Skills

-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

-General understanding of relational databases (preferably Postgres, SQL).

-Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with various levels of management.

-Ability to work in groups.

-Excellent organizational and documentation skills.

-Experience working within an Agile software development team and an understanding of Agile concepts.

-Experience with Source Control tools.

-Experience with JavaScript and .Net Core.

-Knowledge in Typescript and Angular 6+ is a plus.

• Running part of the daily Middle-Office activity:
o Trade Management (Monitoring & Reconciliating)
o Cash Balance Reconciliation
o Responding to client’s requests
o Customizing reports that answer the client’s needs
o Net Assets Value Calculation
• Document Middle Office procedures
• Participate actively in process improvements of the HedgeGuard Middle Office service
• Propose and design new features of the software for the Middle Office service
