Wine Tasting In Paris

Yesterday winemakers from Sancerre celebrated the 90 year’s anniversary of Sancerre AOC.
30 + winemakers were gathered in Musee des Arts Forains in Paris.
Professionals of the wine world were invited to taste Sancerre wines in white, rosé and red, plot sélection, old vintages….

This week, I’ve been invited to a great wine event:
Gala des Plumes d’Or du Vin et de la Gastronomie, is a ceremony to award the best writers and journalist in the wine and food industry. It was the 9th edition, created and organized by from the famous winemaker of Condrieu: Domaine Georges Vernay.
Before the dinner prepared by 4 different chefs of Michelin star restaurants, some of the finest winemakers from France and oustside proposed wine tastings: ,
What a great evening!

On Friday, I was at Clos de Vougeot, in Burgundy, for the 75th anniversary of « Tastevinage »
Since 1950, the Wine Association: Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin organise a huge blind tasting session with wine experts from around the world to recognized the best Bourgogne wines among a selection of different appellations.
It’s always a great honnor and pleasure for me to be part of the Jury in the amazing historical location.
