Porque fue uno de los libros que más disfruté cuando era niña, y porque al final de mi primer año del máster en edición infantil, lo analicé a fondo, desmenucé sus rimas y la belleza de sus ilustraciones ✨️

Lo que más me gusta de 'El Sapo Distraído' es su sencillez sonora y sus doble páginas llenas de detalles y antropomorfia. Un equilibrio iconotexual precioso que hace que los pequeños lectores se conviertan, sin darse cuenta, en los verdaderos « distraídos » de la historia y así, terminen sorprendidos por un final que genera todo tipo de reacciones, entre ellas: querer volver a leerlo 🙃

What I love most about 'El Sapo Distraído' is its simple and musical sounds, and how each double-page spread is packed with details and anthropomorphism. The book strikes a perfect balance between words and images, making young readers feel like they’re the ones getting « distracted » as they follow the story. The ending always sparks all kinds of reactions—including the desire to read the book again and again 🙃
