Happy Plastic-Free July !!! ⭐️ In trying to avoid single-use plastics whenever possible, we love to purchase soap and shampoo bars from an adorable shop in Le Marais of Paris called Unbottled .co. The entire ethos of Unbottled is to avoid plastic/platique, and much of their selection is sold without any packaging. Almost all of their products happen to be vegan, too!!! Happy Plastic-Free July Plastic Free July®!!! ⭐️ In trying to avoid single-use plastics whenever possible, we’ve started making our own tofu using soybeans from our local bulk store Re_Grocery rethink, reuse, refill™ and a recipe from Asian Tofu by Andrea Nguyen Andrea Q. Nguyen. Of course it’s fully vegan!!! Mosa even built a tofu press from scratch as part of the DIY process!!!

Until August 16, 2026, the Fondation Louis Vuitton hosts a staggering retrospective of Alexander Calder’s work . From his early sketches to his famous mobiles to enormous metal sculptures, the incredible Frank Gehry-designed museum is truly the perfect location to appreciate the breadth and depth of “Sandy” Calder’s artistry and influence on modernism. We especially loved the jewelry Calder created for his wife Louisa. Truly inspired. Merci, Fondation Louis Vuitton!!!

Using vinegar sourced from Re_Grocery rethink, reuse, refill™, our local bulk store, in our own re-usable glass bottle and vodka from SVEDKA Vodka, we mix it together with essential oils from Aura Cacia Aura Cacia Essential Oils. So easy and it works well!!!

Until September 14, 2026, Fujiko Nakaya’s “Cloud #07156 — Sculpting the Fog” envelopes the Bourse de Commerce Pinault Collection . We loved cooling off in the intermittent mist at this inventive and joyful exhibit — fun fact: the artist’s father invented artificial snow.

Truth Brush and Baboo .life. We purchase these eco-friendly alternatives at Re_Grocery or on-line. We love that we can compost the bamboo when it’s time for a new toothbrush. ❤️

Until August 2, 2026, in the 16th arrondissement, the Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris hosts a stunning exhibition of Lee Miller’s photographs, contact sheets, and ephemera. Chronicling her incredible, and deeply under-appreciated, modeling days, artistic portrait work, travel photography, and wartime photojournalistic career, this tour de force ranges from fashion, portraiture, and travelogues to deeply disturbing images from World War II and her arrival at Dachau. The exhibit also includes the most famous image of her dirty boots on the bath mat while Lee Miller bathes in Hitler’s tub. We were deeply moved by the content, depth and breadth of Lee Miller’s work and remain in awe of her. We applaud the curators of this exhibition for amplifying Lee Miller’s vision.

Happy Plastic-Free July Plastic Free July®!!! ⭐️ In trying to avoid single-use plastics whenever possible, we skip the plastic bags in the grocery store and grow our own peas originally sourced from Seed Savers Exchange Seed Savers Exchange. Whether eating peas fresh from the pod or drying them to make soup with in the winter, homegrown peas grow with abandon and taste amazing. We now plant peas that we’ve grown ourselves from our own crop. And, peas are an excellent source for our protein as vegans.
