Méthode

Alfonso has been one my teacher's assistant a few years back, he has a very sensitive and precise touch and teaching. We also share the same teachers in Osteothaï and Wùo tai and I could simply not say it better. I totally share his point of view, it is worth saying in this nowadays word of Instagram image and worth hearing.
The quality of touch is NOT acrobatic circus and the techniques developed by experienced teachers should not be stolen and relabelled as Lomi fusion or whatever fusion by ig stars/influencers.

In thai massage we honor our teachers, we pay tribute and thank them for their teachings, this is our first principle, let's not forget it 🙏

😤A little RANT on how massage, especially Thai massage, is portrayed on social media, with a focus on FLASHY TCHNIQUES, while leaving out the fundamentals: mainly listening to the person’s body and adapting the quality of your touch. This oversimplification leads people to think massage is just about aggressive stretching or kneading flesh, which is damaging for our art. I believe teachers should be RESPONSIBLE for what they’re teaching. Massage, whether you call it an art or science, requires the right philosophy. I am bothered by a MECHANICAL (and ineffective at that!) approach to massage. And I get MAD at the current pseudo-postmodernistic trend of mixing techniques without proper credit to the original sources. This is UNETHICAL in any case, but even more when it comes to massage therapists and teachers.
