Last night, the Prix CIRCOM Regional Awards Ceremony brought media professionals from 28 countries together to celebrate excellence in regional public service media. It was a lovely evening filled with great conversations, local entertainment, and well-deserved recognition for this year's winners.

Today at , Alla Skoryk from Ukraine’s Suspilne shared a deeply moving perspective on how war redraws borders not only on maps, but in media coverage. 🇺🇦
She spoke about how entire communities can easily vanish from the news when they become too dangerous to reach.
Alla showcased how Suspilne’s hyperlocal network challenges this reality by empowering people living along the front line to become the voice of their own communities.
It was a vital lesson in why local reporting matters now more than ever. Thank you, Alla, for sharing these insights with us today. 🕊️
