For my last post of 2025, I thought I would share my new rosette design with you! I kept a few things of the previous one, changed a few others...
And a little bonus on the last picture, the last steps of French polish of my (new) lattice model!

My Hauser model is nearly finished! I just need to wait a couple of weeks before applying Super Nikco on it, and it will leave the workshop soon after :')
I'm quite happy with my French polish on this guitar, and I would like to give a special shout out to the amazing Lisa Weinzierl (), the fantastic Amélie Bouvret (), and the incredible Bertrand Ligier, for sharing some French polishing tips and tricks with me! A huge thank you to these three talented makers!

My Enrique García model, based on an instrument made in 1917! A special guitar with special wood made for a special project!

I chose to make this model after listening to and playing on a copy made by my teacher, the amazing Flemish luthier Walter Verreydt. That guitar was honestly the best one I have ever tried... The tone, the balance and the colours of the sound were truly incredible, I had to make one!
