Half-term is often when families finally decide to do the shoot they’ve been thinking about for a long time.

A chance to slow down briefly.
Do something creative together.
And capture this stage before it changes again.

This weekend I’ve opened a small number of studio sessions .

Alongside the main dance shoot experience, I’m also developing several new creative concepts and artistic setups in the studio.

A signature of the studio for many years — and still something very few dancers experience anywhere else in the UK.

Created to produce a true mirrored reflection beneath the dancer, these portraits have become one of the most recognisable parts of the studio experience.

Now reimagined in black and white.

Clean lines. Strength. Shape. Reflection.
Simple in appearance — but incredibly precise to create well, Sia did a great job.

For younger flexible dancers especially, the results can be striking.
Black and white lends it a sculptural, timeless feel.
