New Appointment - V&A Dundee Kimono: Kyoto to Catwalk

From Kilts to Kimonos, we are pleased to announce that we have been appointed for the second consecutive year by the V&A Dundee to be the creative lead for their upcoming campaign for their new exhibition Kimono: Kyoto to Catwalk.

Launching on the 4th May, Kimono explores the intricate story of the style, appeal and influence of the kimono. The ultimate symbol of Japan, the kimono is often perceived as traditional, timeless and unchanging. Kimono: Kyoto to Catwalk counters this conception, presenting the garment as a dynamic and constantly evolving icon of fashion.

We have been tasked with creating a range of assets to help bring the exhibition to life through print, display, sound, motion, merchandise, and more. We are delighted to be once again working alongside the talented team at the V&A Dundee and long-time collaborators FLUX VIDEO, Tiernan Criley, Polytype as well as some new collaborations which we’re really excited about.

🎄And that's a wrap for 2023! 🎄

2023 has been one of our busiest years yet so we are all preparing for a well-deserved break. Our out-of-offices will be on from December 21st - January 8th and then we will be back to it with a whole lot of exciting projects kicking off in the new year.

A big shout-out to the Studio Form team for your dedication and commitment over the past year, it has been a busy one, and delivering projects would not have been possible without your hard work and enthusiasm.

Another big thank you to our network of collaborators who have played an integral role in many of our projects, who without wouldn’t have been possible. It has been a great year for making connections and we look forward to working on more ventures in the upcoming year.

A final thank you to our clients for your trust and partnerships, we wish you all the best for 2024.

We’re on the move again, but this time not as far (574cm to be exact).

The Glasgow team moved into studio 118 at South Block in 2020, since then we have grown and expanded as a team and now find ourselves having outgrown our existing studio. Due to some much-needed extra space, we are thrilled to be making the move across the hall and joining our pals Atomic10 in Studio 120.

We are delighted to be in the new space and have somewhere where we can grow as a company. We’re all really looking forward to our next chapter.

New Work - H+I Adventure Website

Over the past year, we’ve been working with the team at H+I Adventures to develop their new website in collaboration with Freytag Anderson. From the start we wanted to create an immersive digital experience, making use of H+I’s amazing video and photography content.

We were tasked with bringing the new brand to life with an immersive, content-driven site that would allow customers to delve into the range of incredible tours H+I has to offer, as well as dig down into every detail of each tour, allowing for a full understanding of what to expect and how to prepare accordingly.

This was a highly collaborative project, working closely with the team at Freytag Anderson, who delivered a fantastic new brand system and visual identity. Their clever use of the flexible type system allows each tour to have its own identity whilst remaining cohesive as part of a wider offering.
