We are absolutely delighted to announce that Shades of Rhythm are returning to Amnesia House for The History of Rave Part II on October 3rd, Kasbah Coventry, and they'll be taking their rightful place in the Main Arena.

Rayan Gee, Nick Slater and Lanx met when they were three young lads from Peterborough who started making music to play out in their hometown. What happened next, none of them could have predicted.

Homicide. Exorcist. Sweet Sensation. Sound of Eden. Frequency. Tracks from their self-pressed album that grabbed hold of the emerging rave scene and simply never let go.

They found themselves playing alongside The Prodigy, N-joi and K-Klass at Raindance, Fantazia, The Astoria and The Haçienda. Signed to ZTT. Top 20. Top of the Pops on BBC One. Their music wasn't just part of the rave era, it helped define it!

MC CHALKIE WHITE

We welcome the legendary MC Chalkie White to The History of Rave Part II, holding it down in the Main Arena.

A true veteran of the scene and that is no exaggeration. Chalkie White has been doing this since 1989, gracing the stages of some of the most iconic events this country has ever seen... Amnesia House, Dreamscape, Genesis and many more. Over three decades of experience and he still brings every single bit of it every single time he steps on a stage.

Because Chalkie White isn't just an MC. He's a proper host. A voice that is completely synonymous with the classic rave era. He doesn't perform at the ravers. He performs with them. That's what makes him special. That's what makes him a legend.

We welcome DJ Lee Hall to The History of Rave Part II, playing exclusively for the VIP crowd in the VIP Globe Bar.

Lee Hall is a name well known to anyone who has been paying attention to the oldskool scene in recent years. The driving force behind the Back to the Dock events, he is far more than just a promoter. He's a raver who was genuinely there, inspired by the golden era of '92, and everything he does comes from that deep, authentic love of the music and the scene that surrounds it.

A northern powerhouse. A true scene head. And on October 3rd, he's all yours in the VIP Globe Bar.

From 3PM the WAV Garden is open with music running all the way through until 9PM. Then at 10PM the football is on in the garden, England vs Norway, World Cup quarter-final, and everyone is welcome to watch. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿⚽

Meanwhile from 9PM the Tunnels open underground for the rest of the night through to 2AM, and this part is for ticket holders only. So if you've got your ticket, you're sorted for the full experience. 🎧

A quick but important update on Amnesia House x Back to the Dock: The Summer of Love on Saturday 11th July. ⚽🎧

As you'll know by now, England have made it through to the World Cup quarter-final against Norway, and the game kicks off at 10PM on the same night as our event. So here's what's happening 👇

The WAV Garden will now be open until 9PM so you can enjoy the sunshine and the music all afternoon. From 10PM the party moves into the Tunnels and continues through to 2AM, and the good news is everyone will have access to watch the football in the garden live at 10PM before we head underground. There will be a slight set time adjustment on the night but everything else remains exactly the same. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🔥

Music AND football. What a Saturday that's going to be. 🙌

MC HI-FI is confirmed for The History of Rave Part II, October 3rd, Coventry, and he'll be controlling the vibes in the Oldskool Main Arena where he belongs.

This MC needs no introduction to anyone who was there. A veteran of the UK rave scene since the very early days. As the vocal force of Distortion Cru and a respected solo artist in his own right, his signature flow and stage presence are woven into the fabric of the golden era.

From the original Amnesia House raves to iconic nights like Bang-In-Tunes and The Edge, MC Hi-Fi has been captivating audiences for decades.
