One of my current projects is designing the interior for a future holiday rental property (currently in the early stages of construction). Working within the eaves of a pitched roof can be somewhat challenging—especially if it also has hipped ends. You need to consider head height, so bringing units or furniture forward and creating storage behind is one solution. Working on bathrooms can also be tricky because you need sufficient height for showers, toilets (think men), and basins. Our clients had a clear brief and some fantastic design ideas, and the final result looks amazing (if I do say so myself)! I can’t wait for it to be finished and look forward to my first stay—I’ll keep you all updated.
