🌿 Rural Rambles & Nature Notes: SFI Scheme Reopens 🚜

With the SFI scheme reopening, Nigel highlights what it really means for farmers. Where they can support for healthier soils, stronger rotations, and more resilient land while given the backing they need to keep producing good food while caring for the countryside. Here is a run down on what you need to know about the application windows:

Window 1 opening June 2026:
🌱 For small farms.
🌾 Farms that don’t already have an Environmental Land Management (ELM) revenue agreement in place.

Window 2 opening September 2026:
🌿 All farmers and land managers.
