Standing at the foot of Jabal Thawr today with my small group, and the atmosphere is incredible. 🕊️
Most people know this mountain as the sacred sanctuary where the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Abu Bakr al-Siddiq found refuge during the Hijrah. But seeing it transformed into the Jabal Thawr Cultural District is a whole new experience.
Here’s the inside scoop from our visit today:
• 🏗️ Almost Ready: The district isn’t fully open to the public yet, but the arrangements are stunning. The architecture perfectly honors the rugged history of Makkah.
• 🚜 The 4x4 Experience: This is a game-changer! We’re getting a preview of the new 4x4 tracks that will take visitors up the mountain to experience the actual Cave of Thawr firsthand.
• ✨ The Vibe: It’s a powerful blend of deep Islamic heritage and modern accessibility.
Being here before the official opening feels like such a blessing. I can’t wait for all of you to experience this journey of faith and resilience soon. 🤲✨
