What a privilege it is to do hard things 🫶 🏃‍♀️

The amazing team at invited me to their event at Alice Holt Forest for their Backyard Ultra Marathon!

If you are not familiar with a backyard ultra, the rules are as follows:

You must complete one loop starting on the hour every hour (1 lap being 6.7km) 🏃

If you return with time to spare before the next hours loop this is your chance to rest or re-fuel before you go again. 🥤 😴

This continues for 24 laps!!!! (100 Miles total!!) 😮

If you do not make it back in before the next lap begins you are out. ❌

Unfortunately an overall winner is required…. this means the last lap is a race requiring you to find the remaining energy left and make a dash to the end 😨
