We were delighted to have a visit from Richard Holden and his team this week and showcase the vital work our team delivers every day. Mr Richard Holden is the Conservative MP for Basildon and Billericay, and has been an MP continually since 12 December 2019. He currently undertakes the role of Shadow Secretary of State for Transport.

The visit provided a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate how our service supports residents across the community, helping people access essential appointments, social activities, shopping trips, and much more. For many of our passengers, community transport is not simply a journey from one place to another, it is a lifeline that enables independence, reduces isolation, and keeps people connected.

During the visit, Richard met with office staff, drivers, toenail cutters and passengers, hearing first hand about the difference our service makes to people's lives. We were pleased to hear how impressed they were with the dedication of our team and the positive impact community transport has on local residents.

We are incredibly proud of the service we provide and grateful for the recognition of the important role community transport plays in supporting some of the most vulnerable members of our community.

A huge thank you to Richard Holden and his team for taking the time to visit and learn more about our work and to our amazing office staff, drivers, toenail cutters and passengers who helped make the visit such a success.
