When the unfoldings cause disruption in the nervous system.

Last night called for pink softness of the heart with a herbal bath ritual.💕
2 very special rose quartz. A beautiful amathyst and smokey quartz for extra oomph, and a pink intention candle from Boars Bridge Therapy Centre (acrystalinyourpocket.co.uk)

I rolled the candle in sweet almond oil, lavender and heather flowers to cleanse the space and release the healing properties of the flowers.

In my herbal bath went sage, mint, camomile, lavender and a little heather.

Now for the tea...wow, what a beauty. Calming, adaptogenic, cleansing and grounding magic 💫 in a cup.
Ashwagandha, Mullein, Catnip, Ginko, Lavender and Sage. 🌱💜

I sunk in to the bath. Meditated on the flickering flame, sipped my tea and let the softness and the herbal medicine melt away the stress.

I slept like a baby and woke feeling positive and inspired for the day ahead. 😴🌼

This year has taught me the difference between motivation vs inspiration.
And I can't explain it better than this...

It is wonderful to see people celebrating but wait, what about humanity’s best ally and ultimate friend, Planet Earth?

Today marks . Earth Overshoot Day is the date where humanity's (mine and yours) demand for the Earths natural resources exceed what Earth can regenerate in a year.

We are only 7 months in to the year and have already drained our precious Earth of its natural gifts, its rescources.

This speed of consumption is not sustainable for Earth or humanity.
I find the word 'humanity' feels far removed from personal connection. Humanity includes us, our families future existence.

We are drastically abusing and slowly killing our greatest friend.
This weighs heavy on my heart.

We are in huge ecological debt, but our generous friend isn’t knocking on our doors to claim it back, yet. Instead she sends us cries for help, extreme heat waves, flash floods, wildfires, declining species… hoping we will hear, listen and act.

Instead we go about our lives consuming, taking from the seemingly endless pot, sky rocketing population, meat production and air transport as we blindly destroy our home and ourselves.

It’s a grim and depressing subject, but it is the most important conversation of our time. It is our time to and help heal our planet and ourselves.

We are collective and we are connected.
