Great one-to-one session with Cooper as he learnt what the cue "settle" means.

We focused on helping him understand that "settle" means switching off, relaxing, and calmly staying in one place. He worked brilliantly, making great progress with each repetition, and it was lovely to see his confidence grow.

Our Puppy Foundation cohort were back for their second session, where they focused on counter conditioning movement.

Puppies naturally love to follow us and keep us in sight, but we don't want them feeling the need to follow us everywhere. By changing how they feel about us moving around, we're helping them learn that our movement isn't always a cue to get up and come with us.

These exercises help build confidence, encourage independence, and lay the foundations for calm behaviour at home.

Well done to all our puppies and their owners for another brilliant session!

The Social Dawdles

This evening we visited the busy pub garden at Bartons Mill, and what a fantastic training environment it turned out to be!

There were plenty of real life distractions around us; people watching the football, friends catching up, lots of laughter, and, of course, other dogs. Despite everything going on, every single dog did an amazing job.

Our dogs stayed engaged with their pawrents, made brilliant choices, and learnt that they could relax and settle even with all the excitement happening around them.

These real world experiences are invaluable for building confidence, focus and calmness. We couldn't be prouder of you all; well done everyone!

Another fantastic session with Ozzie and his mum! 🐾

When we first started working together, Ozzie had developed reactivity towards other dogs. We created a tailored training plan, which Mum has been consistently putting into practice both at home and out on walks. It's been wonderful to see the positive changes they've already achieved through their hard work and dedication.

In this session, we introduced a new technique to help Ozzie walk on a loose lead whilst maintaining engagement with Mum. They both did incredibly well, and before long Ozzie was walking beautifully to heel with the most lovely, relaxed trot.

One of the biggest changes I've noticed is in Ozzie's overall energy. He's no longer moving with stiffness; instead, he has a natural flow to his movement and looks far more relaxed and comfortable in himself.

I'm so proud of the progress they've made together and can't wait to see what they achieve before our next session.

What a fantastic weekend spent working with Maple on sport search training!

We've come away with lots of fresh ideas and exciting new courses that we'll be bringing to our clients very soon.

Here's Maple and me taking part in an area search exercise, tracking down a person who was hiding. She did an amazing job, and I can't wait to share what we've been working on with you all.
