The Loft

What a marvelous night! Sophie Blyth Jonas and Jane Scott Freeman and the Tokyo S*x Whales were all fantastic. It was a hot night in our beautiful venue but thankfully the arrow slit windows did their best in allowing a slight breeze to waft through and carry the heat up into the rafters. We had lots of willing helpers. Thank you Neil Sharp Martin Wood Kate Sharples Beck, Archie, Mef, Elsie, Heather, Bern, Sue Duke Shaun Duke and all who came out to support Live music even in a heatwave.

🎶💕 Jonas and Jane at The Loft💕🎶

Brought together by a shared love of Americana Music, it was on a trip to Texas when UK-based Charlie Jonas and Katherine Jane first discovered their mutual passion for Bluegrass music which has moulded them into the harmony driven and bluegrass influenced folk duo they are today.

They’ve since released three records and toured across Texas, Colorado and Arizona as well as the UK. They’ve also played many UK festivals including Cambridge Folk Festival and the main stage at Carfest where they played to over 35,000 people following a live performance of their song "Whispered" on the Chris Evans BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show.

We can't wait to hear Jonas and Jane on Friday. Do please come along (and bring your own ice)!
