Our team were SO delighted to get this text from one of our proud mummies on Saturday!
Her little guy has been with us just a few weeks, having struggled at a few other schools. This little man doesn’t communicate with words just yet, so you can imagine the excitement for his mum and all of our team to hear he said “hug”! His very FIRST WORD!! And what a gorgeous one to start with!
Hug is a very important word at the nest. Happiness and nurture come first for us.
Well done wee man! We can’t wait to see what else you can do!!
One last big push before our super psych student hits the streets tomorrow, running the FULL belfast marathon in aid of sensations nest.
If you can spare even a pound we would be so grateful!! 🙏🏻
Go Éile, go!! We’re so proud of you!!

Many of you will know our amazing Sharon, who has been with us since the very beginning.
Sharon is a super talented behaviour therapist, and she and our other good friend Elizabeth have taken the brave step of setting up their own much needed school holiday service.
Thankfully sharon is still with us, working away on other projects, but we wish her and Elizabeth the very best of luck with AUthenTism!!
Sharon and Elizabeth will be running summer schemes this year that I’m sure lots of you will be interested in.
Also watch this space for news of our own schemes which we will let you know more about tomorrow.
In the meantime, please join me in giving the girls the very best of good luck wishes! I know you’re going to do amazing things. X # # #

This 👏
All too often we see young people who are felt to be “fine in school”. But they are far from it. They are masking in whatever way they can- people pleasing, burying themselves in academics, trying so hard to fit in that they virtually disappear.
Often these are the young people who end up avoiding school because of the sheer weight of continually masking in order to survive.
