'The Space We Share' follows Tom and Amy, two young adults struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, and loneliness.

Tom is trapped by the loss of his father and the weight of a future he no longer believes he deserves. Amy feels invisible in her own life, desperately searching for connection in a world that often feels out of reach.

When their paths unexpectedly cross, they begin to find something they thought they'd lost: understanding.

Through each other, they learn that healing isn't about fixing what's broken. It's about finding someone willing to sit beside you in the darkness.

The Space We Share is a heartfelt coming-of-age drama about mental health, friendship, love, and the importance of being truly seen.

WHY THIS FILM MATTERS:
Mental health affects millions of people, especially young people. And yet, many still struggle to talk openly about their experiences.

'The Space We Share' aims to tell an honest and hopeful story about depression, anxiety, grief, and human connection without judgement, stereotypes, or easy answers.

SUPPORTING LOCAL FILM:
The Space We Share will be produced in Belfast, Northern Ireland, showcasing local locations, talent, and creatives both in front of and behind the camera.

We are committed to:

✔️ Creating opportunities for emerging filmmakers
✔️ Showcasing Belfast and Northern Ireland on screen
✔️ Building a production that reflects the talent and creativity within our local industry
✔️ Our aim to cast a well-know Irish/Northern Irish Actor/Actress to help promote the film to a larger audience.

Independent films are often where new voices emerge, and this project aims to be part of that tradition.

WHAT WE ARE AIMING TO RAISE:
We are aiming to raise £35,000 to support the development and production of The Space We Share.
