We are barely into February but with large carpets of snowdrops already around it was also lovely to see these other spring bulbs bursting into life. A beautiful bit of colour clearly being encouraged by the above average temperatures, plus another sign that spring is hopefully just around the corner, bring it on. A couple of bonus photos from last week too.

Well that’s the RSPB’s done for another year.
Having only been here for a year and a half and starting from a blank canvas it’s good to see the garden developing nicely and seems to be already attracting plenty of wildlife.
