A few simple changes can help you make the most of the space you have:

📦 Break down cardboard boxes before putting them in your recycling bin. It saves valuable space and makes collections more efficient.

♻️ Recycle loose and save space. Don't bag your recyclables unless you've been specifically advised to. Squash plastic bottles, crush drinks cans where possible, and place everything loose in your recycling bin to make the best use of the space available.

🍎 When your start date is announced: Use your new food waste caddy. Food waste can take up a surprising amount of room in your general waste bin. Recycling it separately frees up space while helping turn food waste into renewable energy and fertiliser.
