🏉🔥 A tremendous day/night for Burnley RUFC Minis & Juniors on Saturday 16th May as over 200 children attended their team presentations!

Even with some away on D.O.E and school trips, it was fantastic to see so many players, parents and guardians together celebrating another brilliant season 🔵🟡

The evening was all about team spirit, friendships, bonding and recognising the hard work across every age group 👏

🏉 TAGS
Starting the season with around 6 players and finishing 20 strong — what an achievement!

🏉 U9s
Similar story with numbers growing massively throughout the season, finishing with a healthy 13-14 players available.

🏉 U10s
A fantastic year, highlighted by a brilliant performance at the Preston Grasshoppers Festival 💪

🏉 U11s
Their final season as a mixed team saw great recruitment. Special wishes to Jessica & Florence as they move on to help build Burnley RUFC U12s Girls Team 🌟 New players welcome!

🏉 U12s Boys
Started slowly but improved month after month, finishing strongly at their end-of-season festival with more wins than losses 👏

🏉 U13s Boys
Strong numbers week in, week out, competing every Sunday against some of the toughest sides in their age group. Full pitch rugby next season awaits!

Played an incredible 27 matches this season:

Big summer ahead with players encouraged to add gym work alongside rugby training 💪

🏉 U15s
A hugely successful season capped off by convincingly winning their level final 🏆 and performing brilliantly at a competitive 7s event. An impressive 28 players represented the team this year!

🏉 U16s Boys
Their final season before progressing into Colts Rugby. Huge congratulations to Lucca, Oscar, Tom and coach Ryan on receiving 10 Years Service Awards 👏👏

Some lads played their final Sunday junior games after 10-12 years at the club ❤️

🏉 U18s Girls
A tremendous season with huge development shown throughout the year, regularly training with the ladies section and many representing Lancashire 🌹

🏉 U16s Girls
Played a massive role in supporting North West rugby, regularly contributing 4-7 Burnley players each game 👏

🏉 U14s Girls
Now the biggest girls squad at the club! Competing strongly in the newly formed North West Rugby team competing with girls from Preston & Fylde 🔥

📈 Onwards & upwards for girls rugby at Burnley RUFC, with the new U12s Girls Team already forming from current Year 6 players. New girls are always welcome!

👏 None of this would be possible without the incredible volunteers supporting all 13 junior teams at Burnley RUFC. Your dedication is massively appreciated.
