Great to be back in the judging chair for Dance World Cup.💃🏻🌎🏆

Today is the first day of the Czech Qualifier with 5 international judges, our Chairman, and the administration team in attendance. GOOD LUCK at all Czech dancers hoping to represent their country in June in Prague, one of the most beautiful capitals in the world. This year's finals is going to be amazing! 💃💥🏆

Having worked for The Royal Ballet School in various capacities over the years, it was a great honour last April to be invited to take on the position of year 7 girls tutor. Last week I began my third term in the position and couldn’t feel more proud to be nurturing these beautiful young dancers. I find my work as Artistic Coach for the school, for other year groups, incredibly rewarding too.

I often find myself reflecting on what little Layla might have thought back when I was a student at the school, if I’d known that someday I would be in this position. The ballet world can be so challenging but can be so magical too and I am so grateful for the opportunity to learn from all that I’ve experienced in my training and professional career, and then bring only the best of me and my work to my students.

I don’t have many photographs of me as a student at White Lodge but this one was taken in the gazebo outside the MFT when our wardrobe lady took me out to get a photo of me in the tutu between rehearsals! I’m so glad she did.🥰

It’s been so lovely to teach these four the past 2.5 years at Central. Very proud of them.

We are excited to announce that four of our final year students will be joining Scottish Ballet this winter season to perform in the company's production Cinders! 🎉

Leanne Wong, Ross Black, Harvey Woodward and Millie Thompson will work with Scottish Ballet for four months on the production. Best of luck!
