Are you missing snow?

I’m not setting loud goals this year.
No big promises, no pressure to rush.

Instead, I’m focusing on:
- building a thoughtful portfolio that reflects my work at its best
- offering CheekyColours in selected stores, not just online
- investing time in learning — the courses I’ve collected, new skills, and finally diving into Procreate
- creating new products slowly, with care, and with longevity in mind

I want this year to be about consistency without overwhelm,
progress without burnout,
and creativity that feels like coming home — not another task.

I’m not aiming for more this year — I’m aiming for better.
Better work, better systems, better balance between creativity and real life.

Slow or bold — what’s your word for the year?”

2025 didn’t look how I imagined it would.
CheekyColours moved more quietly than before — fewer posts, fewer launches, longer pauses. But behind the scenes, it never fully stopped.
I created when I could, in small pockets of time. I explored ideas instead of forcing output. I worked on colouring pages, colour-your-own cards, winter illustrations, bookmarks, and started shaping new concepts. Some things were finished, some are still resting — and that’s okay.
This year taught me a lot about what doesn’t work for me: constant visibility, rushing creativity, doing things just because I “should”. And it helped me reconnect with what does matter — making work that feels gentle, thoughtful, and true to my style.
CheekyColours didn’t grow loudly last year.
But it grew roots. 🌱
In 2026, I’m carrying those roots forward — slowly, intentionally, and with more trust in my own pace.
