Our Story

Since 1983 Lenstec Optical has established a reputation for high quality workmanship and professional services throughout the U.K and Europe. Lenstec strives on building strong partnerships with optical practitioners and all leading optical manufacturers, thus ensuring a wide choice of products coupled with high levels of consistency and quality every time from one single source.

We believe this ethos allows Lenstec to be the leading Optical Laboratory chosen by the profession.
The Group now comprises of Three Individual Labs across the UK. Lenstec in Caerphilly South Wales, Tant in Bishop Stortford Hertfordshire and Rawdon in Leeds.

The Group has invested in MEI BiSphera /641 and Nidek SE-1 Five axis edger's across the sites and Rawdon houses the Schneider 3 lined Digital Lens Plant for the Group.

Each site has a wealth of experience across our industry to provide a one stop solution for your practice or larger distribution facilities to support your business in the optical manufacturing sector.

The Group specialises in Sports Glazing and has recently acquired the distribution of Julbo Sun and Ophthalmic sports brand and Sports Safety brand Versport.

The Group works closely with Shamir, Essilor and Seiko premium lens brands
