Happy new year let’s hope I can hit the track more in 2026.

A bit of an impromptu racing last night and my first ever visit to the Worcester indoor club!

With my own car kit still partly in Woking and Belgium managed to cobble together a car & handset to me to use. thankfully we still have our endurance car so that was called in to action along with a very 2nd hand looking touring car shell.

For only my 2nd indoor race in over 12 months and my first race using an Mi9 outside of endurance this could go rather interestingly. Thankfully for me my thumbs still sort of work and I sort of remembered how to do this carpet stuff I did not 100% embarrass my self qualifying 4th just behind Jamie.

The results don’t show the whole story with Jamie losing 9s on his fastest run from missing a lap and me losing 7s due to shell issues meaning the gab should have been a little bigger.

Due to the gap between me and Jamie they shifted it to a 4car from the normal 3 car. Managed to crow bar Jamie’s door open on the second corner and keep him at bey for a while before shell issues caused a slip. Finishing 4th over all.

It was fun the Mi9 worked well all evening and being close to Jamie’s pace was fun. Once again having extremely tight margins in one lap pace and 5min run pace.

Though my car had done a few hundred miles more than his… just saying 👀🤣

had me sold with the pink one. Pick up your subtle way to show you only use the best lub and grease for the track.

The only time this might happen to me TQ a meeting along with Jamie Aidan and steph even if it’s not their first time lol 😂
