Toothdrinker is a DIY hard rock and metal outfit based out of Cardiff, Wales.
Newly formed doomgaze-y/goth/metal band in search of a drummer. Currently we're two guitarists, bassist and vocalist, mix of genders and all in our 30s.
Musically, we're aiming for something inspired by bands like Cwfen, Messa, Type O Negative, Black Sabbath, Paradise Lost, Alcest, Anathema, Emma Ruth Rundle, Devin Townsend and a bunch more. Basically, think heavy and dirge-y but also melodic hopefully.
Looking for a drummer to help us complete the line-up and finish writing some songs, record some stuff and play some gigs! Vibe is quite relaxed, nice people playing miserable music
(This is separate to the Toothdrinker "band", but this is the only public account I have!)
Our pals in Phantom Spell are making their UK debut this week, so I dusted off my teenage sprite editing skills to make them this little video game intro.

Our new song 'Flicker' is out now, available on Bandcamp, Spotify or wherever else you get your music these days!
In stark contrast to nearly everything else we've done, here's a song not overtly about or directly referencing pop culture and video games. Shock and horror.
Don't worry though, it's still as cheesy as the rest of our material. Just with some extra spacey chugging. Hope you enjoy!
