The Stand

Next week will be the release of our album “Consciousness”. This is a set of 8 songs which I started writing over 3 years ago. After doing solo stuff for awhile I wanted to see how the songs could develop in a band so got our wonderful 3-piece together with Ade on bass and Jase on drums (for the first year) followed by Spencer stepping in on drums after that. We did some excellent gigs, putting on our own sold-out show on Green Rooms with Stellar Echoes and Space Otter, that was an amazing night! Quite a few cool gigs at Bourtons: Live Music Venue, Restaurant & Bar and then we got to support the legendary Buzzcocks at Jacs.
My ambition for some time has been to record a full album and I didn’t give up even though it’s taken awhile given everyone’s busy lives and some serious events that have happened in my life over the last few years that have put a halt on things for some time. But…it’s finally here…on Thursday 11 December, Consciousness by The Stand!
