Highfields Students

Hi I’m Sam! 👋
I’m about to start my second year studying dentistry. I moved to Cardiff last year from Newcastle, and after exploring a few churches, I chose to settle at Highfields.

I chose Highfields as I found it to have great teaching and student ministry as well as a really supportive large Church family.

One of my highlights of each week is Nexus (our student bible study on a Tuesday night) which I find a great time to escape from the library and to catch up with everyone over dinner, before we open up the Bible together. I have really enjoyed this opportunity to look into Gods word together and pray for each other, and always find it really helpful being able to learn from each other’s interpretations and find out how I can be praying for my group each week.

I’ve really felt at home at Highfields this year and have loved being able to see God working in mine and my friends lives!

Nexus Weekend Away 2025 ⭐️

What a wonderful end to an amazing year together! As a student team, we have been filled with so much joy studying Gods Word, sharing life and growing in friendship with you guys this year. And we pray that over this summer God would keep you, bless you and guide you as you keep trusting in Him.

We love you, and can’t wait for more fun in a few short months. In the mean time, keep your eyes peeled for more photo highlights (we have a lot…)
