Final day but that didn’t mean we aren’t done yet.

With our W Beg 2x and W Int 2x taking to the water

Time for the Women’s captain to take to the water in her W Int 1x, along side the Open int Coxless Quad!

BUCS Indoors

We attended BUCS indoors, with 9 of our athletes racing, with 7 of them being Beginners having only started rowing within the last 5/6 weeks. We also had a few athletes come down and show their support!

Our beginners entered the 1k and the 250m Sprint, with the two senior athletes entering the 2k. All members then joined forces to enter the 2k relay to finish out the day.

One of our Beginners was able to squeeze into a tightly packed field, and come home with a third place in the Women’s Beginner 1k, with one of our senior athletes coming home with another third place in the Open Championship 2k.

Everyone should be proud of what they have achieved over the past few weeks, and should look forward with hope, and seeing what can be achieved within the sport!
