Talks with Strangers: Warren ❤️
We met a lovely stranger recently, Warren and his partner Lizz. Warren, recently facing a Stage 4 cancer diagnosis, shared his quiet dream of climbing a Pen-y-fan. His peaceful spirit and sheer gratitude were so moving. It was a humble reminder for us all that happiness often lies not in what we achieve, but in the simple beauty of the path we’re on.

Happy World Meditation Day 🧘♀️
Why meditate? Well, where do we begin?! There are so many wonderful benefits to meditation, swipe to see them and let’s talk about a few here:
- Emotional well-being: meditation positively impacts our emotional well-being, teaching us to better manage and understand our emotions preventing feelings of overwhelm!
Improved sleep habits: often bad sleeping habits derive from the inability to switch off or calm your thoughts at night. Meditation helps us to relax and teaches us to quieten our minds, it also increased our levels of melatonin (the sleep hormone) therefore helping us to switch off easier and achieve better and more restful sleep.
Reduced stress: meditation has been proven to reduce levels of cortisol which is the hormone associated with stress levels.
Increased compassion: meditation gives people a heightened awareness of their surroundings and enhances our ability to take the perspective of other people and relate our emotions in a healthy way to another persons suffering.
Reduced anxiety: meditation can help to reduce worrying thoughts and bring about a feeling of balance, calm, and focus. It also helps us rationalise and process our thoughts better and therefore increases our ability to let thoughts pass through without weighing us down.
