Our Story
We are a production company founded in January 2015 by actress and director Pınar Öğün with the aim of creating innovative performances and audio-visual art works.
Be Aware Productions aims to produce works of international dimension and appeal, that explore, challenge and expand the limits of the discipline in which they are produced.
The first production of Be Aware Productions is a short film entitled “Exhibit” which has won several awards and has been selected to various festivals around the world. Be Aware Productions aims to produce a performance each year. The first performance is “Enough is Enough”, which toured across Wales in winter 2017, supported by Arts Council Wales.
Be Aware Productions has been selected by Chapter Arts Centre for their new Associate Artist Programme, Peilot. The scheme will offer three years of dedicated support to each artist and company to maximise opportunities for touring, partnership working and UK and international collaboration.
