Medway Public Protection

This week, we have seen another fantastic example of partnership working between Medway Council's Community Safety Team, Street Scene Team and Kent Police. Together, we have actioned the removal of four untaxed vehicles from the public highway, along with a significant amount of fly-tipped waste, from Trident Close in .
The vehicles had been impacting local businesses and the surrounding environment for some time. Thanks to coordinated action, the vehicles were removed and waste cleared from the area, creating a cleaner, safer and more welcoming environment for workers and visitors.
A great outcome for the local community and another example of how strong partnership working can make a real difference.

Please do no leave donations on the floor - this will be investigated as fly tipping. Items left on the floor are exposed to weather and local wildlife, becoming damp, dirty and unusable. These can no longer be recycled and will have to be disposed of as waste. Also, wedging large items into banks makes it inaccessible for other residents - preventing others from recycling properly.
