Inspired by artists like Louise Bourgeois, MERU channels adversities and negative emotions into transformative creative energy. She believes “art needs others, so I help others,” seeing her work as a bridge between personal catharsis and collective empathy

✨ Last day today at Fresh Art Fair ✨

I’m showing with Gallery Rosemount, curated by Mark Gask, who has brought together a brilliant selection of artists for this fair.

A few of my works are featured in this little reel — come and see them in person if you’re visiting today.

Thank you to everyone who has stopped by and supported so far 🤍

Inside us lives the part we’re told to silence.
When met with love, it becomes power.

This is the power of art.

🎨 Meru’s 2025 Art Year in Review

2025 was a canvas of moments, colors, and connections. From my studio in Windsor to galleries across Scotland and Estonia, it’s been a year of creating, teaching, and sharing art with the world.

Studio & Teaching:
• Hosted workshops and taught art in my Windsor studio—every brushstroke shared, every student inspired, was a reminder that art is more than technique; it’s connection.
• Ran an art club for local kids—watching their creativity bloom has been a true highlight.

Exhibitions & Galleries:
• Huge thanks to gallerist Mark for showing my paintings in Scotland, and to Meteeme & Olja for showcasing in Tallinn, Estonia. Your support has helped my work reach new homes and hearts.

Art in Everyday Life:
• People wore my art on T-shirts and framed A5 prints, bringing my work into their daily lives.
• Candles, handbags, and cards featuring my art became special gifts and keepsakes.
• At Enzo’s restaurant, my Italian landscape paintings found the perfect wall space—seeing diners lose themselves in it was a magical experience.

New Creations & Collections:
• Lots of my paintings and prints from my shop and studio Nomad found beautiful new homes this year, each piece carrying its own story into someone else’s life.

Behind the scenes, my husband helped bring my visions to life—fixing frames, preparing canvases, and making sure every piece was ready for its new home!

• The business side of art can feel invisible, but behind every sale and exhibit, there’s a lot of quiet creation happening—more than meets the eye.

Moments That came along:
• My painting appeared in “Kättemaksu Kontor: Aegluse Kunst”— fun seeing my work on screen.

• Just watched Sal-Saller—mis paneb elama documentary and found that one of my art pieces even fades through in the story, a tiny moment of my art living in someone else’s powerful tale.

2025 reminded me that being an artist isn’t just about making art—it’s about living it, sharing it, and letting it touch lives in unexpected ways. Here’s to more color, stories, and magic in 2026
